The Primitivo route delivered! We hiked in the dark until the sun came up-it was truly rewarding. It was as hard and as beautiful as legend tells. I hiked with a 70+ Spaniard and has age 46 wife-they were hard to keep up with at times. I met Gabbi, who laid in a hospital bed for 3 months after brain surgery, and is now hiking the Camino to start her new life. The people, terrain and total experience of the Camino is hard to match.
