Help for Small Business Owners During the Pandemic

June 01, 2020

I first want to extend our continued wishes that you, your family and loved ones are healthy and safe, and remain that way throughout the unprecedented circumstances we are facing.

Navigating the uncertainty on the road ahead can feel like a formidable challenge. Add to that the demands of running a small business in an environment when there doesn’t always seem to be a clear path or answers to the situations and questions you face, and you may find yourself feeling overwhelmed.

Please remember that we are always here to help, even if just as a sounding board, from one small-business owner to another. Of course, there may be some steps we can take to help you manage expenses and create an interim plan to better protect you and your employees.

The U.S. Small Business Administration (sba.gov) has a number of resources available that may help you during the COVID-19 crisis, including an Economic Injury Disaster Loan program. You may want to visit their coronavirus page to explore your options.

There is a wise saying that the only thing you can worry away is your health. And while it’s easy to be preoccupied with the latest headlines, your well-being and that of those you love should be your priority. Taking some time in the day to do something positive for yourself, such as a hobby or activity you enjoy, calling a friend, stretching, meditating, or exercising, can be beneficial to your physical and mental health, which can in turn help you be there for those who depend on you most—including yourself.

If there is anything at all that we can do for you during this time, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
