Qualifications of Curt E. Coulombe

Curt E. Coulombe CLU® ChFC®

In 1992, after graduating from Syracuse University, Curt joined AXA Advisors, LLC in Atlanta as a financial associate. Aiding the American consumer from financial peril has been a passion of his for 18 years. From the study of risk management to taxation, and pensions to investments, the financial sector has been his focus. For 3 years at AXA Curt served as a Vice President, responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising newer associates. He earned his Certified Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) degrees from the American College in Bryn Mar, Pennsylvania. 

In 2006, Curt joined Elliott and Associates Wealth Advisors Inc., located in Marietta, Georgia. Elliott and Associates focuses on fee-based financial planning for high income professionals and business owners. For 5 years, Curt has served as a voting member on the board for the Atlanta chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).

International studies are another passion of Curt’s. He has been asked to moderate at Emory’s international issues forum, and was a board member of the Southern Center of International Studies’ Young Professionals from 2000 to 2002. A Spanish speaker of more than 20 years, he is also a member of the Atlanta Council for International Relations in Atlanta. He has been fortunate enough to see much of Western Europe and Mexico, and plans to go to Latin America and Asia in the near future.

He spends his weekend remodeling his ranch home in Chamblee, Ga., riding motorcycles and taking group fitness classes whenever possible.  As a courtesy to his guests, Curt would not golf, even if they asked him to.
